UPDATE: Level 3 predatory offender who cut off GPS tracker arrested in Illinois

UPDATE - Rico Ronondo Rodriguez was arrested in Belleville, Ill. on Wednesday, Nov. 5. 

The Minnesota Department of Corrections is looking for a level 3 predatory offender who cut off his GPS tracking device and fled from a halfway house in Minneapolis on Oct. 26.

Rico Ronondo Rodriguez, 34, was released from prison on Aug. 8 under the condition of intensive supervision by Hennepin County authorities, according to a news release. He had previously been sentenced to prison for criminal sexual conduct against a juvenile female and failure to register as a predatory offender. 

Rodriguez has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5’ 11” tall and weighs 227 pounds.
