Turkey considers catching train at Minneapolis station

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - We know you've heard the question. Why did the chicken cross the road? But here's a new one.

Why did the turkey take the train?

Travelers at a downtown Minneapolis light rail station Thursday waited for their train along with a curious wild turkey.

The bird meandered along the station platform and wandered close to the doors, but apparently decided it wasn't quite ready to ride this gravy train. 

That may have been the right decision. It didn't look like the turkey had purchased a ticket. Boarding the train would have been a fowl move.
