NEW YORK (KMSP) - The Minnesota Timberwolves have received the seventh overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft following Tuesday's Draft Lottery, according to a team release.
The team began the night with the Lottery's sixth pick, which was statistically the second most likely result. The first, at 43.95 percent, were Minnesota's odds that it would remain with the sixth pick.
The NBA Draft will be held June 22 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Minnesota doesn't have any picks in the second round.
Wolves' forward Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 overall selection in 2014, represented the team at the Lottery event, which was also held in New York City.
