Ten high school seniors decided a friendly competition couldn’t get in their way of celebrating their graduation.

The seniors from South High School in Minneapolis decided to skip their graduation ceremony so they could play in the State Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in Blaine Saturday afternoon.

Despite the competition, their parents and principal worked together to ensure they would have the full graduation experience.

The kids donned their caps and gowns and had a small ceremony on the sidelines of the State Ultimate Frisbee Tournament.
