Storm sends prom photo session into Eden Prairie mall

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) - Students from Burnsville High School had a memorable prom photo session Saturday due to the heavy rains that hit the metro area. 

One of the prom groups was scheduled to take pictures at Purgatory Park in Eden Prairie when the rain wind picked up. So, they decided to head over to Von Maur at Eden Prairie Center.  
 
As the group of parents and prom goers grew, the store's general manager approached the group and offered some great ideas for photo ops. According to one of the parents, Bethany Paul, the staff stopped the escalators for the classic staircase photo.
