Star Tribune truck hits errant skid loader bucket, careens into ditch

HOPKINS, Minn. (KMSP) - An errant skid loader bucket caused a crash and backups along Highway 169 in Hopkins early Monday morning.

At about 6:30 a.m., the Excelsior Boulevard exit ramp from northbound 169 was closed as crews worked to remove a Star Tribune delivery truck that careened off the roadway and into a ditch after crashing into the skid loader bucket. Minor injuries were reported. The ramp is still closed.

Police are asking witnesses to call authorities if they saw the vehicle that lost the skid loader bucket.
