St. Joseph, Minn. police chief placed on leave following complaint
ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (KMSP) - The police chief in St. Joseph, Minnesota, has been placed on administrative leave following a complaint filed against him.
The City Council will met in a closed meeting Monday evening to discuss the allegations against St. Joseph Police Department Chief Joel Klein. At the meeting they ratified placing Klein on leave. The case is still under investigation.
Administrators have not yet said what the complaint is regarding. Klein has been with the department since 2001 and has been chief of police since 2013.
