Snow emergencies declared in Minneapolis, St. Paul Saturday

(FOX 9) - Snow emergencies have been declared in Minneapolis and St. Paul after snow fell Saturday morning into the afternoon.
Minneapolis snow emergency
What to expect:
The City of Minneapolis has declared a snow emergency starting at 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Here are the parking rules for Saturday from 9 p.m. to Monday at 8 p.m.:
- From 9 p.m. Saturday Feb. 8 to 8 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9: No parking on EITHER side of a snow emergency route until 8 a.m., or the street is fully plowed.
- From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9: No parking on the EVEN numbered side of a non-snow emergency route until 8 p.m., or until that side of the street is fully plowed, or on EITHER side of a parkway.
- From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10: No parking on the ODD numbered side of a non-snow emergency route until 8 p.m., or until that side of the street is plowed.

If cars are not moved off the snow emergency routes, or moved off non-snow emergency routes on Feb. 9 and 10, will be ticketed and towed.
St. Paul snow emergency
What to expect:
St. Paul declared a snow emergency starting at 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Here are the parking rules for St. Paul's snow emergency:
- Beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8: No parking on Night Plow Routes, which includes downtown and all streets with signs posted "NIGHT PLOW ROUTE" and "NIGHT PLOW ROUTE THIS SIDE OF STREET."
- Beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9: No parking on Day Plow Routes. These routes are not marked by signs. Any street with no "Night Plow" signs within the block, is a Day Plow Route.
Cars not moved from Night Plow and Day Plow routes by their respective times, will be ticketed and towed.
The snow emergency is in place until Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. It is recommended not to park on streets where it is not plowed to the curb.
Payne-Phalen and Highland Park neighborhoods
On Saturday, Feb. 8: All cars should be parked on the even-addressed side of the street.
On Sunday, Feb. 9: Starting at 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., move all cars to the odd-address side of the street. Cars should be kept on the odd side of the street all week.
