Pedestrian struck by light rail at Snelling and University in St. Paul

A pedestrian is in the hospital after struck by a light rail train at the intersection of Snelling Avenue and University Avenue in St. Paul, Minn. around 2 p.m. Friday, Metro Transit police confirmed. 

The extent of victim's injuries are currently unknown.

The incident temporarily suspended service between the Raymond and Hamline stations on the Green Line and buses will be for riders. All rail service has since resumed.
