Move-in day at Ft. Snelling for homeless veterans

Under-utilized buildings at Fort Snelling received an $8 million facelift to become a place for homeless veterans. The project will re-develop 5 historic structures to create 58 affordable housing apartments. Some will be opening as early as July.

The non-profit, Commonbond Communities is responsible for the development and will manage the property.

There are still openings at Fort Snelling. Anyone interested should visit this website: http://www.fortsnellingveteranhousing.com
