Motorcyclist dies after head-on collision

(KMSP) - A motorcyclist died Saturday morning in a head-on collision in Denmark Township.
Joe Neal Hansmeier, 43, from Eagan was traveling the wrong way up Highway 61 south of Highway 10 when it struck a KIA OLX head-on.
According to the police report, the driver of the KIA, 22-year-old Rachel Dickson from Cottage Grove suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say Hansmeier was not wearing a helmet, and there was alcohol involved.
The incident occurred just before 1 a.m.
