Minneapolis Police: two shot in First Precinct

Two were injured in a shooting in Minneapolis' First Precinct Wednesday night, according to a release.

Officers responded to the scene on Park Avenue South around 6:45 p.m. after a 911 caller reported someone had been shot, though police said they were unable to find the victims when they arrived.

Minneapolis Police were later informed that two victims later arrived at Hennepin County Medical Center with gunshot wounds, victims who officials believe were involved in the incident.

One man was shot in the stomach and is listed in critical condition, while another woman sustained non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the arm.

Police are still investigating and urge anyone with information on the incident to call 612-692-TIPS (8477).
