Man dies after Friday shooting in north Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A man who was shot in the head Friday evening on the 2500 block of Penn Avenue North died Wednesday, according to a police statement.
A passerby found the victim in a parking lot around 6:45 p.m. and called police. The 21-year-old was lying in a pool of his own blood, police said, and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.
The name of the victim will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner after an autopsy is performed.
