Man charged for discharging gun inside Fridley Target

Seth Millner, 28, is facing charges for discharging a firearm inside a Target in Fridley, Minn. 

Police have identified and charged the man responsible for firing a gun inside a Target in Fridley, Minn. on Dec. 13.

BACKGROUND - Shot fired from pants, 2 flee Fridley, Minn. Target

Seth Millner, 28, and another woman were at the register checking out when the incident occurred, according to police. Millner began to “make an adjustment to his left ankle area of his leg” when a shot was fired, striking the floor. The two suspects fled the store and took off in a two-door vehicle.

Fridley police received a tip about Millner from a citizen who had seen his photo on the news. He was arrested in St. Paul on Dec. 17. Millner admitted he was in the Target with a gun, claiming it “just went off,” according to the criminal complaint. 

Millner is being charged possession of a firearm by an ineligible person.
