Authorities in Morrison County say they have recovered several items of interest while canvassing the property where a hunter was found shot to death last fall.

Terrance “Terry” Brisk was found dead of a gunshot wound on a wooded property northwest of the intersection of Hawthorne Road and Jewel Road in Belle Plaine Township on Nov. 7, 2016. Officials believe he was shot sometime between 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

On Monday, while canvassing the property where Brisk was found, investigators located a couple of items of interest. The items are being submitted to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for analysis.

In a news release, Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen said they are “one step closer to solving this crime and that they are committed to working this case until a suspect is in custody.”

There is still a $30,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to the identification of the person who shot and killed Brisk.

Anyone with information regarding Brisk’s murder is asked to contact the Morrison County sheriff’s office at 320-632-9233 or Crime Stoppers of Minnesota at 1-800 222-TIPS or at their website crimestoppersmn.org. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
