General Mills recalls 60,000 bags of frozen green beans for listeria again

A second batch off frozen green beans has tested positive for listeria, prompting General Mills to recall more than 60,000 bags.

The Minneapolis-based company is recalling 16-oz bags of the Cascadian Farm green beans produced in June 2015 with a “Better if used by” date of June 29, 2017, the Associated Press reported.

This is the second time this year the Minneapolis-based food company has found the bacteria in it’s Cascadian Farm green beans. In August, General Mills recalled thousands of their 10 oz. packages produced in March 2014 with use-by dates in April 2016.
