Garrison Keillor retiring after next season of 'A Prairie Home Companion'

There's big news from Lake Wobegon. Garrison Keillor has confirmed the next season of "A Prairie Home Companion" will be his last as host of the long-running radio show he created.

In January, Keillor announced bluegrass musician Chris Thile would be the next "Prairie Home" host. Keillor will host his final show in July 2016 and Thile will take over in September 2016. Keillor will maintain his role of executive producer.

Keillor is now 72 years old and tells the Associated Press he has "a lot of other things that I want to do."
