Evening shooting in south Minneapolis injures one

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police responded to a shooting on the 2500 block of Cedar Ave. in Minneapolis Thursday evening, according to a department spokesperson.

Officers arrived on scene at 7:02 p.m. to find one adult man had been shot multiple times in the groin and stomach area. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition.

Police are looking for the suspect and the incident remains under investigation.
