Coating of snow creates slippery travel in Twin Cities, southern Minnesota

It wasn't much, but a blast of winter weather Sunday night made for slippery travel across the Twin Cities metro and across the state.

Snow fell throughout the evening, leaving some flakes on the roads and making for tough travel in some areas. To the south, it was even worse with a few inches falling throughout the afternoon into the night.

The good news: the snow is expected to stop by midnight.
