Boy dies in ATV rollover crash in northwestern Minnesota

FERTILE, Minn. (FOX 9) - A boy died in an ATV crash in Fertile, Minnesota, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Thursday around 5:53 p.m., deputies responded to a report of an ATV rollover on 435th Street SW just west of the Sand Hill River.

Responders attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation suggests he lost control of the ATV and hit a tree.
