Body recovered from Mississippi River ID'd as missing Minnetonka woman

Christine White, 55, of Minnetonka, Minn. was last seen near Highway 7 and Highway 101 in Minnetonka on Saturday night. 

A body pulled from the Mississippi River near South St. Paul, Minn. this week has been identified as a missing woman from Hopkins, Minn.

Christine White, 55, was last seen alive on Sept. 10 in Minnetonka near Highway 7 and Highway 101. She was again seen in White Bear Lake a short time later. She had been reported missing to the Minnetonka Police Department.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says her body was recovered from the Mississippi River on Sept. 18. The cause and manner of death are still being investigated.

The Dakota County sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in locating White’s vehicle: a grey 2014 Honda Civic with a Minnesota license plate number 734 LSP.
