Body found in Mississippi River near Orvin Olson Park

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The Hennepin County Sheriff's Department recovered a body from the Mississippi River Sunday afternoon, according to a release. 

Minneapolis Police spotted the adult male floating in the Mississippi River south of the Lowry Avenue Bridge near 2:00 p.m., relying on the Sheriff's Office Water Patrol for recovery. 

The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
