Bicyclist critically injured when struck by car in Anoka, Minn.
ANOKA, Minn. (KMSP) - A bicyclist was critically injured after he was struck by a car in Anoka, Minnesota Friday evening.
At 6:35 p.m., a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu driving south on 7th Avenue made a left turn onto Highway 10 and struck a bicyclist in the crosswalk, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The bicyclist, identified as a 55-year-old Anoka man, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu and the passenger were not injured.
