Authorities discover missing man's body Stevens County
(KMSP) - The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body of a man who had been missing since April 1.
Stevens County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Facebook post that the body recovered was Eric Scott, 31, of Appleton, Minnesota.
Scott’s body was recovered from a grassy area near the intersection of 330th Street and 500th Avenue, authorities said. His vehicle was found on 490th Avenue, south of 330th Street.
The discovery came after several days of extensive ground and air searches.
Swift County Sheriff’s Office, the Appleton Police Department, the Minnesota State Patrol, the Minnesota DNR, LifeLink III, the Stevens County Sheriff’s Posse and the MN Search and Rescue Dog Association assisted in the search.
