19-year-old found shot to death in Bloomington, Minn. apartment

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) - A 19-year-old man is dead after a shooting inside an apartment in Bloomington, Minnesota Thursday night. 

Police were called to an apartment complex on the 6800 block of West Old Shakopee Road around 10:44 p.m. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a man dead of a gunshot wound inside one of the units. Evidence suggests a struggle had taken place prior to the shooting, according to Bloomington Police. 

Police do not believe this was a random act and there is no danger to the public at this time.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
