15-year-old turns himself in for West St. Paul gas station shooting

A St. Paul teen turned himself in in connection to a shooting at a SuperAmerica gas station earlier this week, according to West St. Paul police.

Monday around 10 p.m. police responded to a report of a shooting at the SuperAmerica in the 1200 block of Robert Street South. Crews took a man, who was shot in the leg, to the hospital. His injuries were non-life threatening.

Police continued to search for the suspect of the shooting until Thursday afternoon when the 15-year-old St. Paul boy turned himself in at the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office. He is now in custody at the Dakota County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder and second degree assault.

Charges are pending.
