1 injured in downtown Minneapolis stabbing

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - One person is in critical, but stable condition after being stabbed in downtown Minneapolis, according to Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder.

Elder says the incident happened just before 3 p.m. near Nicollet Avenue and E Grant Street. 

Officers were able to arrest the suspect and also recovered a knife. Emergency crews took the victim to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The case remains under investigation.
