Minnesota weather: Warm forecast to finish out the month

The next few days will feature a breeze, but the wind will come with warmer temperatures

All of this forecast ahead, both morning lows and daytime highs, will be above average!

We stray away from the frigid temperatures, with some days flirting with the 40 degree mark.

Early week outlook

Big picture view:

Southwest winds pick up on Sunday with more wind on Monday out of the west.

The breezy days will be a theme through Tuesday before our winds look to settle down later in the work week.

Temperatures will warm into the upper 20s today with plenty of sunshine. We get even warmer for Monday and Tuesday with thawing temperatures coming with that breeze.

Gusts for both Monday and Tuesday may peak in the 30s.

Extended forecast

What's next:

Temperatures back off slightly, although they will still be above average.

Highs will be shy of the freezing mark by only a couple degrees for Wednesday before another dose of warm air returns.

The 40s return for Thursday and Friday with mild temperatures still looking to stick around into the weekend.

Little to no precipitation is in the forecast for most of Minnesota.

Any chance of light snow will fall in far northeast Minnesota and across parts of northern Wisconsin.
