Tuesday's forecast in Minnesota

What to expect:

The Twin Cities metro will reach around 44 degrees on Tuesday, just shy of the record high of 47 degrees. Meanwhile, southwestern Minnesota will see highs close to 50 degrees. Northern Minnesota will be cooler, in the 30s, with a chance of light snow in the Arrowhead region.

Overnight, cooler air arrives as the winds gradually relax. Temperatures will drop to around 30 degrees in the metro, with single digits expected near the Canadian border.
