Virtual Reality: The New Frontier at Walker Art Center

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Northern Spark is about to be in full swing, and one exhibit at the Walker Art Center offers visitors the chance to try some virtual reality.

Virtual Reality: The New Frontier is an international selection of virtual reality works that represents some of the most compelling narrative and documentary VR storytelling being independently created today

The lineup includes works by local Minnesota artists that played at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival's New Frontier, plus specially selected pieces. Virtual reality experiences include the Black Lives Matter Minneapolis protests, the Prince tribute block party and street dancing in Cuba.
