Special calendar honors Minnesota African American heritage

(FOX 9) - A special calendar is honoring Minnesota African American heritage.

It is the 13th annual recognition of people who have inspired the Minnesota community. The Minnesota African American Heritage Calendar will be unveiled Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:30pm at Progressive Family Life Center in St. Paul. It is also a fundraiser for Minnesota students to go on college tours.

FOX 9 talked with Duane Dutrieuille about the event.
