Record heat is expected for both Saturday and Sunday. It will be a breezy Saturday with a high of 64 degrees in the Twin Cities. Sunday will be warmer with a high of 70 degrees and a chance for passing showers as a cold front sweeps across the state in the evening.

The warm temperatures will continue as we move into this weekend. Record heat is expected for both Saturday and Sunday. The record high temperature for the metro on Saturday is 54 degrees, and Minnesota may break above that by 10 degrees. The warm air is around Saturday night with a good shot at breaking the warmest low temperature for the metro on Sunday morning.
