High School dance takes center stage
The top dance teams in the state will hit the court this weekend for the MSHSL Dance Team State Tourney. The event is held at Target Center with the jazz competition happening Friday February 14th and the kick competition taking place on Saturday February 15th. Good luck to all the teams who qualified for state.

Minneapolis distillery combines flowers and whiskey
A Minneapolis distillery has a perfect combination for Valentine's Day. O'Shaughnessy Distilling Co. is inviting people out to express their love at their floral gate. They worked together with Martha's Gardens Floral Studio on the design. Next to the floral gate is free love letter stationery, pens, and a mailbox for guests to anonymously write a love letter and drop it into the mailbox. Messages of love will fill the air, and those with permissions granted will be anonymously shared. Garden Guy Dale K. paid a visit to the distillery to check out the display.

A special guest joined the FOX 9 Morning Dance Off. Jordan Krolak was recently featured in a story by FOX 9'S Maury Glover. Krolak works at the Lunds and Byerlys in White Bear Lake as a bagger. But he also has a special talent that draws in a crowd. About once a month, he sets up shop in the stores' mezzanine area to sing. His favorite tunes come from the classic crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett. Jordan's journey to the microphone wasn't without challenges. He was diagnosed with autism when h was 3, which can make it hard for him to socialize with others. Showing off his vocal skills makes him feel like his disability doesn't define him. You can catch Jordan's next performance at the Lunds and Byerlys in White Bear Lake on Thursday February 13th from 5-6:30 p.m.

Monday morning snow has created slippery road conditions, leading to several crashes across Minnesota. The State Patrol said from midnight through 8 a.m., there have been 83 crashes, four injury crashes, one fatal crash, 21 vehicles off the road, five vehicle spinouts, and one jacked-knifed semi. The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory is rolling out some of their most vibrant and unique flowers for a two day show. Garden Guy Dale K. got a chance to go behind the scenes to see what goes into growing the orchid collection. The Winter Carnival Orchid Show runs January 25 from 10am ? 5pm and January 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Those coming just to visit the Conservatory?s gardens will still need to purchase a ticket for this weekend.

An endearing children's book about a monster who's terrible at scaring is on stage at the Children's Theater Company, but the production is unlike anything they've put on stage before. It's called 'Leonardo: A Wonderful Show about a Terrible Monster'. The cast utilizes puppets, both paper and fuzzy puppets. They have a few different projector stations which are then broadcast on a large screen above the stage. None of the process is hidden, so they let you in on the magic of creating a show like this. This show is based on the Mo Willems book. The author actually approached this theater company, Manuel Cinema that's based in Chicago to come up with a way to bring his story to life. The show is on stage until March 9th.

Maple Grove teacher Betsy Fine got the surprise of a lifetime this fall when Viktor the Viking showed up at her school with a big surprise. Betsy is the Vikings Fan of the Year. Purple and Gold pride runs in her family, her grandfather got the family hooked with season tickets when the Vikings were founded. As the Vikings Fan of the Year, Betsy won a trip to the Super Bowl in New Orleans. She's excited to watch the game with her daughter.
