The NFL has started to release its 2019 preseason schedule, and the Minnesota Vikings will be facing a few former teammates right out of the gate.

The Vikings still start the 2019 preseason at New Orleans, between Aug. 8-12. There’s no shortage of former teammates there as they’ll see quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, running back Latavius Murray, offensive lineman Nick Easton and defensive back Marcus Sherels.

Murray, Easton and Sherels all signed with the Saints in free agency.

The Vikings will open the home portion of their preseason schedule against the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 18 at U.S. Bank Stadium. They also host Minnesota native Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals sometime between Aug. 22-25, and finish the preseason at Buffalo Aug. 29.

The Vikings are coming off an 8-7-1 season and missing the NFC Playoffs for the third time in five seasons under Mike Zimmer.
