Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for November.

Keenum led the Vikings to three wins (they had a bye in Week 9) in November, finishing the month with 69-of-97 for a 71.1 percent completion rate. He also completed eight total touchdowns during the month, a new career high.

This is the first time Keenum has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month.

Keenum began the season as the Vikings' backup quarterback for Sam Bradford, but Bradford aggravated an old knee injury in Week 1 that eventually led to him being placed on injured reserve. Since then, Keenum has started seven and finished eight of Minnesota's nine victories this season.

The Vikings are currently on a seven-game winning streak. They look to continue that streak when they play the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is at noon.
