Minnesota United wins first home match 1-0 over D.C. United

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Minnesota United fans finally got to sing “Wonderwall” Sunday as the Loons won their first game at the brand new Allianz Field.

Loons fans sing the song after victories, but weren’t able to sing it at home after the first two Allianz Field contests ended in draws.

Angelo Rodriguez scored the lone goal of the match to lead MNUFC over D.C. United.

The Loons are back in action at Allianz Field Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m.
