Minnesota basketball community loses good friend Bill McKee

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Bill McKee passed away Thursday after a battle with kidney cancer. A good friend throughout the Minnesota basketball community, McKee coached on many levels and at many different schools in his career.

McKee, 62, was most recently the head basketball coach for the Augsburg College women. He led the Auggies to their first-ever MIAC playoff berth this past season, where they upset No. 3-seed Concordia-Moorhead in the first round. They finished with a school-record 15 wins.
