Gophers men's basketball team No. 15 in preseason poll

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The Associated Press released their preseason poll Wednesday and the University of Minnesota men's basketball team is the No. 15 team in the country.
Head coach Richard Pitino returns all five starters from last year's team that was a 5-seed in the NCAA Tournament and finished with a 24-10 record (11-7 in the Big Ten).
The Gophers open the season against the South Carolina Upstate Spartans on Friday November 10.
