GOPHERS GO DANCING: No. 5 Minnesota vs No. 12 Middle Tennessee in Milwaukee

The Gophers are heading to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 4 years. Minnesota will face Middle Tennessee State on Thursday afternoon in Milwaukee in the South Region.  

This is really the best scenario for the Gophers and their fans. The team watched the selection show at U.S. Bank Stadium, waiting to find out who they would play and where they would play.

When Minnesota was selected as a No. 5 seed in Milwaukee, the players leapt out of their chairs. Even though the player knew they were going to the tournament, the announcement was still super sweet to witness.

If the Gophers advance past Middle Tennessee State, they will play the winner of Butler and Winthrop. North Carolina is the No. 1 seed in the South Region.
