Fleck: 'No decision' yet for Brooks to play in Nebraska game

After giving Ohio State a scare last weekend, the Minnesota Gophers are looking to end their three-game losing streak with a trip to Nebraska.

It's unclear though, if senior running back Shannon Brooks will on the field. Brooks was arrested over the weekend for an alleged domestic incident. He was released from custody and will not be charged in the incident.

During the latest episode of the PJ Fleck Show, Head Coach PJ Fleck says Brooks was medically cleared to play and has been back with the team. While Brooks did not practice on Tuesday or Wednesday, Fleck says Brooks will be practicing with the team on Thursday.

"No decision has been made in terms of when he will play or when he'll come back," said Fleck. "There's still other information that we're gathering for that to be able to happen."

The Gophers (3-3) hit the road to play the Cornhuskers (0-6) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
