Welcome to October in Minnesota

The fall weather is here just as we have turned the calendar page to a month that lives up to that fall reputation. October is one of those months when we can see just about anything and history has proven it. The 90s have held on in the past, 80s are commons and sub freezing mornings usually make an appearance. This is the first month of the Fall and Winter seasons that we have an amount in the average snow column. I don't think that .6 inches will stop you in your tracks, but that is just average. This is the month when we have seen our biggest daily and biggest single storm snow totals, thanks toe the Thanksgiving Blizzard back in 1991. Take a look through the slide show to see all that October in the Twin Cities has to offer.
