MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police found two adults dead inside a northeast Minneapolis home Sunday afternoon after hearing what they believed to be a gunshot coming from inside the house, according to a release.
Officers were called to a house on the 2000 block of Polk Street Northeast around 3:30 p.m. after a 911 caller said someone was threatening another person with a gun nearby.
While a hostage negotiation team tried to contact the people inside, officers heard what they said sounded like a gunshot and entered the house. Inside, they found a man and a woman both dead.
There are currently no suspects being sought and the incident is still under investigation.
