Twin Cities hit 57 degrees below zero wind chill, Hibbing sees minus 66
(FOX 9) - Wednesday had some of the lowest morning temperatures and coldest wind chills that the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota has seen in decades.
In the Twin Cities, the wind chill hit 57 degrees below zero overnight Tuesday and residents woke up to an air temperature of minus 28.
Other places in Minnesota are even colder. Hibbing recorded a wind chill of 66 degrees below zero overnight with an air temperature of minus 28, while Rochester saw a wind chill of 62 below and an air temperature of minus 29.
