Traffic change at Lowry Tunnel starts Tuesday
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Starting Tuesday, the Lowry tunnel on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis will be down to two lanes of traffic on each side, as the inside lane in each direction will be closed.
Additionally, ramps from westbound I-94 to I-394 and Hwy 55 will reopen.
Trucks and buses more than 9,000 pounds are prohibited from the tunnel, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
This set up will remain in place for 7-10 days.
