Streets closed in Minneapolis near U.S. Bank Stadium for X Games

Streets near U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis will be closed starting Thursday for the X Games, which are being held July 13-16.

Chicago Avenue from 4th to 6th Street will be closed through Wednesday, July 19. Parts of 4th Street South, Park Avenue South and Portland Avenue South around the stadium will be closed through Monday, July 17.

Several lanes around the stadium on the Commons will also be closed for the event.

In addition to the closures near the stadium, the westbound side of the Lowry Tunnel on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis remains completely closed and all traffic is being diverted through the eastbound side.

The northbound I-35W ramp to westbound I-94, the 4th Street South ramp to I-94, the westbound I-94 ramp to westbound I-394 and the ramps to and from Highway 55 are also closed due to the construction.
