St. Paul firefighters host Booya fundraiser for Shane Clifton's family
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - The “Booya Fundraiser” at O’Gara’s Bar and Grill Saturday honored firefighter Shane Clifton and raised money for his family.
On August 31st, 2015 St. Paul firefighter, Shane Clifton died suddenly while on duty. Doctors say he died of an apparent heart attack.
"He was a great fireman, Shane was a great paramedic, when he put on his badge everyday he was proud to wear it." A St. Paul firefighter said.
Shane Clifton was more than just a firefighter, for many in St. Paul he was a friend.
"Always wanted to help people, he was a super person and my hero." Shane’s father, Michael Higgins said.

Organizers say they served over 55 gallons of Booya soup and estimate over a couple hundred people stopped by.
