Shot fired from pants, 2 flee Fridley, Minn. Target
FRIDLEY, Minn. (KMSP) - Police are attempting to track down a man and woman who fled from a Fridley, Minn. Target after a shot fired from a gun somewhere near the man's ankle.
Fridley police responded to the Target off I-694 and Central Avenue at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday. Police said a man and woman were at a register buying snacks and soda and told the clerk they were on a 12- to 15-hour-long road trip. The man began to “make an adjustment to his left ankle area of his leg,” police said, when a shot was fired, struck the floor, and the suspects fled the store and took off in a two-door vehicle.
Police don’t believe the man was struck as there was no blood at the scene, but he did limp as he ran out of the store. No one else was hurt. Fridley police ask anyone with information to call Fridley Police at 763-572-3629.

“Suspect #1: White male, late 20’s brown hair grey/green baseball cap, blue ADIDAS t-shirt covered by a black jacket, Dark colored pants and tennis shoes with a white sole.
Suspect #2: White female, late 20’s, long dark hair, wearing a pink shirt covered by a blue/black hooded sweatshirt with LOVE PINK written on the front. The sweatshirt was covered by a second grey sweatshirt. Dark colred jeans and white tennis shoes.
Vehicle Description: Red/Maroon colored 2 door vehicle.
