Rep. Ilhan Omar to appear on Comedy Central's 'Daily Show'

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - State Rep. Ilhan Omar, DFL-Minneapolis, will be the guest on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show"
Thursday evening, adding a high-profile interview to her schedule as the highest-elected Somali-American public official in the United States.
She joins host Trevor Noah as the fourth guest of the week, on a slate alongside Silicon Valley actor Kumail Nanjiani, former Dallas Police Chief David Brown and comedian James Davis.
The Daily Show airs on Comedy Central weeknights at 10 p.m. CST.
