Police: 2 men robbed 3 pharmacies in Minneapolis robbed in 35 minutes

Three pharmacies were robbed in a span of approximately 35 minutes in the Uptown and Lowry Hill neighborhoods of Minneapolis on Wednesday evening. Police believe the same two suspects are responsible for all three robberies.

Officers were called to robberies at the Walgreens on South Hennepin Avenue at 5:44 p.m., the Cub Foods pharmacy on Lagoon Avenue at 6:13 p.m. and at the Walgreens on West Lake Street at 6:18 p.m., according to a news release.

The suspects in all three cases were described  as two men, one thin and one heavyset.

Minneapolis police have alerted all pharmacies in the city. The incidents are currently under investigation.
