Pedestrian hit, killed on Hwy. 169 in Elk River, Minn.

ELK RIVER, Minn. (FOX 9) - A pedestrian was hit and killed by a teen driver on Highway 169 in Elk River, Minnesota Wednesday evening.
At 6:52 p.m., a 17-year-old boy from Elk River in a Honda CRV was driving northbound on Highway 169 when he struck a pedestrian crossing the highway north of Main Street, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The victim was a 36-year-old Elk River man. He has not been identified.
The crash remains under investigation.
